Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I wash my accessories?

Merino items: Wash only when visibly soiled or after 5-7 wears. Over-washing can reduce the inate qualities of the natural fibers. Cotton and other yarns can be washed as needed. NOTE: Be sure to follow the care instructions above when washing your treasures.

Will the colors fade over time?

Hand-dyed yarns are colorfast when properly cared for although some very slight color softening over years of use is normal for hand-dyed items.

My beanie stretched out. Can I fix it?

Yes! Hand wash in cool water, gently squeeze out excess moisture, and reshape to the original dimensions. Lay flat to dry.

What if my item gets wet in the rain?

No problem! Wool performs well when wet. Simply reshape and lay flat to dry when you get home. Avoid wringing or twisting.

Is Superwash Merino Hypoallergenic?

Yes, merino wool is widely considered hypoallergenic and excellent for sensitive skin because its ultra-fine fibers bend easily, preventing the itching associated with traditional wool

Can I iron my wool accessories?

It is not recommended.
